News
The group stage MD 1 has ended in France

The group stage matchday one fixtures of the UEFA Euro 2016 finals have finished in France. Following the Russians another three players of FC Krasnodar took part in this primary continental football forum, all of them defenders and spending full 90 minutes in the game.

Artur Jędrzejczyk was one of the most notable players in the Poland national team with his corner-to-corner performance along the right pitchside contributing to a 1:0 win against Northern Ireland. The goal in this Group C fixture was scored on the 51st minute by Arkadiusz Milik.

Andreas Granqvist was the principal pillar of defense for Sweden in a clash vs. Republic of Ireland that ended with a 1:1 tie. Both goals in this Group E fixture were scored by the Irish in the second half with Wesley Hoolahan scoring an opener at first and then Ciaran Clark misdirecting the ball into his own goal.

Ragnar Sigurðsson became a stumbling block for Cristiano Ronaldo and A Selecção with his solid performance in defense for the Iceland national team that held its first match ever in the UEFA Euro finals. The result for Iceland vs. Portugal clash in the Group F was also a 1:1 tie. The opener by Luís Nani on the 31st minute was followed by Birkir Bjarnason’s equalizer on the 50th minute.

Therefore, the national teams with FC Krasnodar players defending their colors have been unbeaten so far at the UEFA Euro 2016 finals and there is a good chance for them to qualify for the play-offs.
