Vladimir Ivic replaces Aleksander Storozhuk in the position of the head coach of FC Krasnodar. The club signed a 2-year deal with the Serbian specialist. His assisstants in Krasnodar will be Milos Veselinovic and Sinisa Gogic, Christos Kelpekis will be the goalkeeper coach
Vladimir Ivic was born on May 7, 1977. He began his football career in 1994 in a Serbian club Proleter. Four years later he already was a player of Partisan, as a player of which he scored 64 goals in 133 games of the national championship. In his career he also played for Borussia (Moenchengladbach) and Greek АЕК, Aris and PAOK.
In June 2013 Vladimir Ivic became the head coach of the PAOK youth team and won the championship in his very first season in position. In March 2016 he became the head coach of the main team of PAOK and won the Cup of Greece-2016/17.
On May 31,2018 Vladimir Ivic became the head coach of Maccabi (Tel-Aviv) and led the club to two consecutive wins in the championship (the first one was a landslide with в 31 points ahead of the runner-up and just one loss). In 2020 he became the manager of Watford, but not long after that returned to Maccabi.
In January 2023 FC Krasnodar and Vladimir Ivic agreed upon the joining of the latter to the main team of the Bulls as the head coach.
