Nine FC Krasnodar players have been summoned for the matches of the national teams to be staged under the aegis of FIFA in early October 2021.
Matvei Safonov and Aleksei Ionov have joined the Russia national team that is facing two matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification. In addition, Valeri Karpin had also summoned the FC Krasnodar Academy-trained Daniil Fomin currently playing for FC Dynamo Moscow. Team Russia will play with Slovakia in Kazan, Russia on October 8 and Slovenia in the capital of Maribor on 11 October.
Grzegorz Krychowiak has departed to the training grounds of the Poland national team. The black-green midfielder and his Biało-czerwoni teammates are playing two games of the same World Cup qualification, vs. San Marion (at home, 9 October) and vs. Albania (away, 12 October).
Viktor Claesson was summoned to the Sweden national team. The Swedes are also facing matches of the named qualification, vs. Kosovo (at home, 9 October) and vs. Greece (at home, 12 October).
Eduard Spertsyan went to join his Armenia national team. The Havak'akan will meet Iceland away on 8 October and Romania away on 11 October.
Uroš Spajić received a call-up to the Serbia national team. Together, they will play two games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, vs. Luxembourg (away, 9 October) and Azerbaijan (at home, 12 October).
Three players playing for various FC Krasnodar teams have joined the Russia national under-21 football team. They are goalkeeper Stanislav Agkatsev, midfielder Nikita Krivtsov, and FC Krasnodar-2 midfielder Daniil Kornyushin (the latter has also made some appearances for the Krasnodar first team this season). The Russian Junior Team will play two games of the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition, vs. Northern Ireland in Khimki, Russia on 8 October and vs. Lithuania away on 12 October.
