Eight FC Krasnodar players have been summoned for the matches of the national teams to be staged under the aegis of FIFA in early September 2021.
Aleksei Ionov and Sergei Petrov went to join Team Russia that is facing three games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification. Apart from them Valeri Karpin also summoned Krasnodar Academy-trained Daniil Fomin currently playing for FC Dynamo Moscow. The Russia national team will host a game vs. Croatia in Moscow on 1 September, then play with Cyprus in Nicosia on 4 September and finally meet Malta in Moscow on 7 September.
Grzegorz Krychowiak has departed to the Poland national team. The black-green central midfielder may take part in three matches of the named World Cup qualification. The Polish Eagles will play with Albania (at home on 2 September), San-Marino (away on 5 September), and England (at home on 8 September).
Viktor Claesson has been summoned to the Sweden national team facing matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, vs. Spain (home, 2 September) and Greece (away, 8 September). The Swedes will also hold a scrimmage against Uzbekistan at home on 5 September.
Eduard Spertsyan left for the Armenia national team’s training ground. His team will play with North Macedonia (away, 2 September), Germany (away, 5 September), and Liechtenstein (home, 8 September).
Uroš Spajić received a call-up to the Serbia national team. The Serbian Eagles will hold a friendly game with Qatar (Debrecen, 1 September) and two games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, vs. Luxembourg (home, 4 September) and vs. Ireland (away, 7 September).
Two FC Krasnodar Academy cadets currently playing for the Krasnodar first team will join the Russia national under-21 football team. They are goalkeeper Stanislav Agkatsev and defensive midfielder Aleksandr Chernikov. The Russian Junior Team will play two games of the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition, vs. Spain away on 3 September and vs. Malta in Khimki, Russia on 7 September.
