FC Krasnodar Players Have Capped for Their National Teams

The Russian Junior Team has achieved an important win against Bulgaria

Ten FC Krasnodar players had been called to the international matches staged under the aegis of FIFA from 3 to 5 September 2020. The Russia national under-21 football team with the Bulls on their squad beat Bulgaria in the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification game.

The Russia national team has begun the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League campaign with a 3-1 win against Serbia. The Russian team achieved this win thanks to a brace by Artyom Dzyuba and a splendid shot from outside the box by Vyacheslav Karavayev. Yury Gazinsky, Sergei Petrov, and Yegor Sorokin stayed in reserve.

The Sweden national team began the UEFA Nations League game vs. France with two Bulls in the first eleven, Kristoffer Olsson and Marcus Berg. Both of them spent a full 90 minutes on the pitch, but their efforts were not enough to beat Les Bleus. A goal scored by Kylian Mbappé was the only goal scored that evening.

Aleksandr Martynovich the centre-back played a full match for his Belarus national team in the opening game of the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League vs. Albania. The White Wings lost 2-0.

The Russia national under-21 football team has improved their lead in Group 5 of the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification thanks to a 2-0 home win against Bulgaria. Matvei Safonov the keeper played a full 90 and maintained a clean sheet. Two more Krasnodar players, midfielders Daniil Utkin and Magomed-Shapi Suleymanov, came in as substitutions together on the 62nd minute of the game.
