The postponed MD 23 game vs. FC Dynamo Moscow began for the Bulls with two unfortunate episodes. On the 17th minute Matvei Safonov failed to intercept the ball in time in a difficult situation and involuntarily knocked the Dynamo striker off his feet. Mikhail Vilkov the ref chose the most severe punishment for the deed and sent the Krasnodar keeper off for the desperate foul.

Denis Adamov took Safonov’s place between the sticks. The young keeper began his performance with a save after a free kick taken by Shkolik, but very soon he faced a harder challenge. Vyacheslav Grulyov found his way past Sorokin with a feint and took a shot from inside the box. A bounce then followed, and the ball flew an unpredictable path diving into the net with the black-green keeper deked out.

It was hard for the Bulls to work on their combinational play, and yet they did create a real chance for an equalizing goal. Fernandes broke into the opposite penalty area after a fine pass by Utkin, but his powerful shot hit the goalpost.

On the 85th minute the Krasnodar team was left with only nine players on a field of play as Ramirez had been injured and the coaching staff had no more available substitutions at their disposal. Joãozinho made good use of the thinned home team’s defense at the death and shot the ball into the near corner of the goal from medium distance.
