Matchdays 13 and 14 of the Russian Premier League were dedicated to the 90th birth anniversary of the great Soviet goalkeeper, Lev Yashin. It was probably the pre-match ceremony that disturbed the focus of the Krasnodar players a bit, since they failed to avoid a quick opener scored against them. It was only the 3rd minute of the game when Grigori Morozov met the ball served from the left flank and hit Namli with the shot on his first attempt, but ultimately managed to finish it single-handedly anyway.
The Bulls scored an equalizer on the 35th minute. An ideal serve by Stotsky from the corner kick turned into a similar header by Aleksandr Martynovich. The pigskin went inside the net through the second top corner of the goal. The score became 1-1.
In the second half it was football where both teams had equal chances for success. FC Krasnodar was more active at the death, but a shot by Shapi from inside the box lacked some accuracy. A salvo fired by Vilhena from afar on another occasion sent the ball directly where Shunin was standing. The full-time whistle of Mikhail Vilkov the ref thus recorded a 1-1 tie.
