On the day following the victory over FC Spartak Moscow in the closing match of the 2019 Parimatch Premier Cup that brought our team the trophy, FC Krasnodar held a friendly game agsint FC Ural Yekaterinburg. The black-green match sheet for the named scrimmage consisted mainly of the young Academy-trained players. The exceptions were Sinitsyn the keeper and two centre-backs, Fjóluson and Gritsayenko. It should be noted, the latter did not begin the game in his profile position as he had been fielded as a right-back.
A quick opener scored by the Ural team greatly affected the course of the game. Rafał Augustyniak from Poland made Sinitsyn yield on the 2nd minute after his screamer from thirty meters. Accordingly, Dmitry Parfenov’s squad took the lead and went on controlling the ball and creating more chances in the final third. A few minutes to half-time the Bumblebees scored the second goal. It was Andrei Panyukov who managed to avoid an offside trap and perfectly exploited a one-on-one situation with the Krasnodar goalie.
The young Bulls made the game equal in the second half, for this reason scoring chances would alternatively take place next to the both goals now. The goalkeepers of the teams in questions acted beyond praise though, that’s why the score did not undergo any more changes. FC Ural Yekaterinburg won the scrimmage 2-0.
