On 27 May, the day following the closing RPL 2018/19 game vs. FC Rubin Kazan, FC Krasnodar players and coaching staff went on vacation. It is going to be short this summer.
The black-greens will have only two weeks off, and those are mainly the players who were not summoned to the national teams. As for the players who actually were, they will get a few days off when they come back from their national squads. Some players will join the Krasnodar team during the first training camp, while the rest will begin training from the second one.
Let’s have a look at the off-season schedule of the Bulls. The team will meet at the Chetuk training ground on 10 June. The first two days will be traditionally dedicated to a medical examination. The Krasnodar team will depart to Austria on 25 June for the second training camp, where it will participate in the Match Premier Cup tournament. Apart from our team, three other clubs will compete for the trophy and the prize fund of the Cup established by the popular Russian TV channel, namely FC Rostov, PFC CSKA Moscow and FC Spartak Moscow.
The matches of the Cup will be staged in Pöllau, Austria, at the local Sportplatz TSV Pöllau stadium. According to the Cup regulations, every team will meet every other team once, in a single round. In case of a tie after 90 minutes of the game a winner will be decided by a penalty shout-out. A team gets three points for a win after the full-time, two points for a win after a penalty shoot-out, and one point for defeat after a penalty shoot-out.
