The Black-Green Vacation Will Last till June 10

The team will take part in the Match Premier Cup in the off-season

On 27 May, the day following the closing RPL 2018/19 game vs. FC Rubin Kazan, FC Krasnodar players and coaching staff went on vacation. It is going to be short this summer.

The black-greens will have only two weeks off, and those are mainly the players who were not summoned to the national teams. As for the players who actually were, they will get a few days off when they come back from their national squads. Some players will join the Krasnodar team during the first training camp, while the rest will begin training from the second one.

Let’s have a look at the off-season schedule of the Bulls. The team will meet at the Chetuk training ground on 10 June. The first two days will be traditionally dedicated to a medical examination. Then FC Krasnodar will begin training systematically at the Chetuk ground. The first training camp will end on 20 June. The black-greens will get two days off (June 21 and 22), and on June 23 and 24 they will train at the Chetuk ground again. The Krasnodar team will depart to Austria on 25 June for the second training camp, where it will participate in the Match Premier Cup tournament. Apart from our team, three other clubs will compete for the trophy and the prize fund of the Cup established by the popular Russian TV channel, namely FC Rostov, PFC CSKA Moscow and FC Spartak Moscow.

The matches of the Cup will be staged in Pöllau, Austria, at the local Sportplatz TSV Pöllau stadium. According to the Cup regulations, every team will meet every other team once, in a single round. In case of a tie after 90 minutes of the game a winner will be decided by a penalty shout-out. A team gets three points for a win after the full-time, two points for a win after a penalty shoot-out, and one point for defeat after a penalty shoot-out. All Cup games will be broadcast live on the Match Premier channel.

Here is a preliminary fixtures list for the Bulls in the Match Premier Cup (summer 2019):

27 June. FC Krasnodar vs. PFC CSKA Moscow

30 June. FC Krasnodar vs. FC Rostov

4 July. FC Spartak Moscow vs. FC Krasnodar

One more scrimmage is scheduled by the black-greens on 7 July, but the opposing team will be announced later. As soon as the mentioned scrimmage is over, the team will return to Krasnodar and spend the final stage of the preparation for the new season at the Chetuk training ground. As a reminder, MD 1 fixtures of the Russian Football Championship 2019/20 are preliminary staged on 13 and 14 July 2019.
