A Farewell Tribute to Mauricio Pereyra and Charles Kaboré

The players are leaving FC Krasnodar on expiration of their contracts

The closing match of the RPL season 2018/19 vs. FC Rubin Kazan became the last one with the Bulls for two FC Krasnodar players who had been successfully defending the black-green colors for many years, midfielders Mauricio Pereyra and Charles Kaboré.

After the full-time a farewell tribute ceremony was held for these two players who meant a lot to the Club. Mauricio and Charles took a victory lap accompanied by their teammates, while the highlights of their football performance were displayed on the giant media screen. The supporters in the stands, filled to capacity, stood up in unison and cheered loudly for their favorite players with a standing ovation.

Both players addressed supporters with words of gratitude for their warm support throughout these years. This touching ceremony culminated in a speech given by FC Krasnodar Director General, Vladimir Khashig. On behalf of the Club collective he thanked players wearing shirts No. 33 and 77 for the long-standing and fruitful hard work and wished them luck in their further careers. He also gave them the commemorative shirts with numbers symbolizing official appearances the two players made with the team, 201 for Mauricio Pereyra and 124 for Charles Kaboré.

Mauricio Ernesto Pereyra Antonini

Midfielder, 29 years old

Born on 15 March 1990 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

He moved to FC Krasnodar from Club Atlético Lanús (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in February 2013.

This goal allowed FC Krasnodar to enter the UEFA Europa League group stage for the first time in its history.

Midfielder, 31 years old.

Born on 9 February 1988 in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso.

He moved to FC Krasnodar from FC Kuban Krasnodar in August 2015.
