In the last home game of the UEFA Europa League group stage the Bulls beat the Turkish club Akhisarspor. The match basically followed the same scenario as the two previous UEL clashes the black-greens had hosted at the FC Krasnodar Stadium. The visitors scored an opener. Mid through the first half they succeeded after a corner kick combination when Brazilian player Serginho took an unsavable shot on the run from the centre of the box. The Krasnodar team had a considerable advantage though, and they turned the tide in the first twelve minutes of the second half. It was Yury Gzinsky at first who hammered the ball under the crossbar of the away goal with a header after a super accurate serve by Petrov. Then Ari received a pass from Wanderson and proceeded with a delicate parachute shot sending the ball behind the Turkish keeper, who had left his goal area.
