A team meeting was held on 3 April at the Chetuk training ground just before the morning training session. The owner and president of the Club, Sergey Nikolayevich Galitsky, introduced the new head of the coaching staff to the team.

The 34-year-old Murad Musayev, who had previously worked with the youth team of the Bulls, has been appointed the FC Krasnodar caretaker manager.

Murad Olegovich Musayev was born on 10 November 1983 in Krasnodar. He graduated from the Kuban State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism. Despite his young age, Murad Musayev has had more than twelve years of coaching experience. He was still in the university when he began working as a youth coach at the FC Krasnodar-2000 Reserve Training Centre in 2005. He worked there until November 2011 joining the FC Krasnodar Academy afterwards.

Murad coached for the teams made of players born in 1999 and 2000 who won a great deal of trophies under his leadership. His greatest progress was with the squad of players born in 1999 that have become the basis of the current FC Krasnodar youth team. In 2016 they won the Russian tournament among teams of the relevant age along with the Cup of the Russian Football Union. In October 2016 he managed the Russia national youth team (players born in 1999) at a very prestigious and representative tournament in France. The players led by Musayev (their skeleton squad was made of the FC Krasnodar Academy-trained players) beat Uruguay and Romania confidently and tied with France. They finished second behind the hosts of the tournament on a tie-breaker only due to a worse goal difference.

A bit earlier, in summer 2016, Murad Olegovich became the boss of the FC Krasnodar U-21 team. Under his leadership the U-21 squad (it was composed of players considerably younger than those of the teams they opposed) finished sixth last season ceding the fourth position on a tie-breaker. With six matchdays remaining, the Young Bulls are now the confident leaders of the current RFPL Youth Tournament as they are three points ahead of the next team in pursuit.

Moreover, this season the FC Krasnodar U-19 team with Murad Musayev at its helm performed in the 2017–18 UEFA Youth League and did so with dignity. The black-greens went as far as the knockout stage, where they where they were eliminated by the Real Madrid players of the same age only in a shootout.

Coach Andrey Mitin left FC Krasnodar alongside Igor Shalimov. Aleksey Malakhov, who had previously worked in the Club Academy, in FC Krasnodar-2 and in the FC Krasnodar youth team, has assumed his position in the coaching staff.
