News
A contract with the young Serbian utility player has been signed for five years

FC Krasnodar and Red Star Belgrade have agreed upon the transfer of the Serbia national U-21 team player, Mihailo Ristić.

Mihailo Ristić was born on 31 October 1995 in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He started going in for football in a Serbian team FK Rudar Ugljevik. In early 2013, he joined the Red Star Belgrade U-21 squad, and in 2014 he signed his first professional contract and made a debut in the first team of the named Belgrade club. Since then Mihailo has made 90 appearances for Crvena zvezda (with eight goals scored and eight assists made) winning the 2015-16 Serbian SuperLiga alongside his Red Star teammates.

Mihailo Ristić is a left-footed player and his primary position is a left-back, one who is willing and able to support the attacks. At the same time he can perform well in other positions of a left midfielder, a defensive midfielder or even a central midfielder with the box-to-box area of responsibility. It should be noted that the coaching staff of the Serbia national U-21 team have been regularly using him exactly in the defensive midfield and on the left flank there. Ristić has also capped once for the first national team of his country.

As for now the details of Ristić’s transfer from Red Star Belgrade to FC Krasnodar have been agreed upon, and the young midfielder has signed a long-term personal contract with our Club that is valid until 30 June 2022. The Serbian player is to join the black-greens very soon at their training camp in Austria in order to begin training with his new squad.
