The Russian Football Union (RFS) has approved the traditional list of the prize-winning players following the results of the recently ended Russian football season at its executive committee meeting held on 31 May 2016.
The Player of the Year prestigious title was awarded to the Russian Football Championship 2015/16 top scorer, FC Krasnodar striker Fyodor Smolov. The full list of the prize-winners can be view at the RFS official web-site.
The whole FC Krasnodar collective congratulates Fyodor with this another recognition of his professional skills and wishes him and his partners a successful performance at the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament in France.
It should be also noted that Fyodor Smolov has become the 52nd European player in the SOCAR Player Barometer rating published at the UEFA official site and representing the players’ form before the Euro 2016 finals.
