Some more matches of the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying were staged on October 10th and 11th. A representative of FC Krasnodar made an appearance in one of those with two other players of the Bulls spending the matches on the benches of their national teams.
Centre back Ragnar Sigurðsson spent full 90 minutes in the home match of the Iceland national team vs. Latvia that ended with a 2:2 tie. The point they gained allowed the Icelanders to overtake Czech Republic, so right now Iceland is a single leader of their Group A with a single matchday remaining in the qualifying tournament. As a reminder, Ragnar’s national team managed to qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016 finals ahead of schedule, and it is the first time in the national history of Iceland they will be taking part in the final stage of this important international championship.
Stefan Strandberg the universal player stayed in reserve of the Norway national team that beat Malta 2:0 at home. As for now Norwegians are second in their Group H leaving Croatia behind with a gap of 2 points, and since there is only one match to be played Norway has a good chance to qualify directly for the finals.
Full back Artur Jędrzejczyk spent the final Group D match of his Poland national team against Ireland on a bench. In this most dramatic clash the Poles achieved a 2:1 home victory. This result allowed Poland to rank second in their group and qualify directly for the final tournament in France.
