Leonid Slutsky put the FC Krasnodar midfielder on the entry list for the UEFA Euro 2016

It has become known today that PFC CSKA Moscow midfielder Alan Dzagoev will miss the UEFA Euro 2016 finals due to an injury sustained in the last matchday fixture of the Russian Football Championship. As a replacement, the Head Coach of the Russia national team, Leonid Slutsky summoned FC Krasnodar midfielder Dmitri Torbinski who is able to play as left full-back, too.

As a reminder, in 2008 Dmitri Torbinski with the Russia national team won the bronze medals of the Euro tournament that took place in Austria and Switzerland.

Torbinski became the fifth player of FC Krasnodar summoned to the national teams to take part in the UEFA Euro 2016. Previously Fyodor Smolov and Pavel Mamayev had been included in the Russian squad, while Andreas Granqvist and Ragnar Sigurðsson had been summoned to their Sweden and Iceland national teams, respectively. Moreover, Artur Jędrzejczyk made the extended 25-player list of the Poland national team, too, and according to the Polish media his chances to be put on the final entry form are very high.
