Tomorrow, 9 January 2017, the black-greens are finishing their one-month vacations as they are about to begin the preparation for the spring part of the season 2016/17.
On January 9 and 10 the players and coaches will pass a regular medical examination in Krasnodar, and in the morning of January 11th the Bulls will depart by a charter flight to the capital of the United Arab Emirates for their first winter training camp. The team will train for two weeks in the capital of Abu Dhabi holding two scrimmages in the process. A friendly game with Henan Jianye F.C. from the Chinese Super League is scheduled for January 22nd, and on the last day of the training camp, January 25th, the Bulls are to test themselves in a scrimmage with Pakhtakor Tashkent FK, the fifth team of the recent 2016 Uzbek league.
It has been decided for the second FC Krasnodar training camp to take place in Spain. The team of Igor Shalimov will be training from 29 January till 10 February in Puerto Banús, 10 kilometers from Marbella. It is exactly the place where the Bulls stayed last year in the Guadalpin Banus Hotel and were perfectly pleased with their living and training conditions.
The coaching staff led by Igor Shalimov has arranged six scrimmages for the second training camp. Their full schedule and the opposition list are still to be agreed upon, but even now it can be said that among other teams FC Krasnodar is to meet Videoton FC (Hungary), NK Osijek (Croatia) and SK Slavia Prague (Czech Republic).
The final stage of the preparation for the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 fixtures against Fenerbahçe S.K. (February 16 and 22) the Krasnodar team will spend at their own Chetuk training ground.
