The end of the Season 2015/16 coincided with the legendary goalkeeper Andrei Dykan finishing his professional career. After the full-time of the FC Krasnodar – FC Amkar Perm match the keeper bid a cordial farewell to the black-green supporters.
Andrei Aleksandrovich Dykan had been defending the goal of various professional football clubs for 21 years; he made 169 appearances in the Russian Football Premier League achieving a clean sheet 61 times. He also scored 11 goals; those occurred in the beginning of his career, as in his time Dykan was a regular penalty kick taker in the FC SKA-Energiya Khabarovsk, and he never missed a single PK.
The keeper moved to FC Krasnodar in summer 2014 making 59 official appearances for the Bulls (30 wins, 18 ties, 11 losses) and achieving a clean sheet in 16 of those games. Dykan played between the sticks for the Bulls in 39 fixtures of the Russian Football Championship (22 wins, 12 ties and 5 losses), 19 matches of the UEFA Europa League (7 wins, 6 ties and 6 losses) and one Russian Cup game (1 win).
While playing for FC Krasnodar Andrei Dykan on average conceded one goal every 91.7 minutes, which is less than a goal per match. His “plus-minus” utility rate is +46 making it the best among the keepers in our Club history. His another outstanding achievement is the PK save rate; out of four penalty kicks ordered against him the opponents of the Bulls were able to score only one, hence Dykan’s PK save rate percentage is equal to 75!
The whole FC Krasnodar collective thanks Andrei Dykan for the two wonderful seasons he spent in our team. His most professional attitude toward the training process served as an example for younger players; Andrei’s skills and experience made his teammates confident on the pitch, and his reliable performance in the goal area was worth literally half the battle making the team victorious in various tournaments. We wish Andrei more success in his further career and we hope it will be connected with football!
