The black-greens opened their second training camp program with a scrimmage against Vålerenga. Only Matvei Safonov spent a full 90 in this friendly game with the Norwegian. As for the outfield players, the psychical exercise they received was graduated.
The first half included a minimal number of scoring chances even though Krasnodar succeeded in launching a few combinations of value. On the 35th minute Petrov let the cross from Wanderson go to Botheim in a quick-witted way. The striker then shielded the ball with his back in the middle of the box, turned, and rolled the ball to Claesson. A minor mistake in receiving prevented the Swede from taking a focused shot from a killing position though.
A few minutes to the interval the Bulls scored an opener. Ramírez brought Spertsyan to a shooting position with a one-touch pass, and the latter tricked Haug with a feint and a shot from 13 meters. In the second half both teams drastically changed their squads but it did not affect the score. Chernikov could have scored another one for FC Krasnodar on the 66th minute, but a defender cleared the ball from the goal-line as it was on its way into the net. On the other side, Udahl got and wasted the best chance for Vålerenga as his shot made the pigskin hit the goalpost. 1-0, and FC Krasnodar have commenced the Marbella training camp with a minimal win.
