On this day the black-green starting lineup underwent two considerable transformations. The problem of unavailable Cabella, Claesson and Suleymanov was solved by the Krasnodar coaching staff by means of Skopintsev, who was fielded as the left winger. Furthermore, Ari assumed his position at the attack spearhead from the opening minutes, since he had finally recovered from a minor muscle injury.

They were actually the two players who contributed a lot to the opener. On the 19th minute Ari rolled the ball to the centre of the box, and Dmitri Skopintsev managed to push it into the second corner of the net. The lead of the Bulls did not last long though, because mid through the first half Bavin met a good serve by Dimitrov and the score became equal again.

It turned out Ari had missed football too much. On the 38th minute the Russian Brazilian played a wall pass combination with Olsson and fired a shot from nine meters. It seemed as if the pigskin went exactly into the same spot of the net where Skopintsev had sent it earlier. 2-1 at the half-time with the Bulls leading!

Freshly-fielded El Kabir scored another equalizer with a solid shot under the crossbar, but ultimately the Krasnodar team did not let a win slip away. On the 80th minute Ignatyev won the ball from Haroyan at the pitchside, arrived to the penalty area and hit a goalpost at a very sharp angle. Daniil Utkin was the first one there to finish the ball. The score was then made final by Wanderson Maciel and his screamer into the first top corner of the goal.

The win in Yekaterinburg allowed the Bulls to keep their lead in the Russian Premier League standings before taking a two-week break. Seventeen points after eight matchdays is a record breaking schedule for FC Krasnodar in all the time they have competed in the top-tier football division.
