FC Krasnodar finished the Austrian training camp program with a scrimmage against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara. The black-greens displayed great territorial and playing advantage in the first half, but the interval arrived with Samara in the lead by one goal. It was scored during one of the few counterattacks launched by Krylia on the 38th minute, when Dmitri Kabutov sent the ball with an abrupt and rather spectacular shot over Safonov who had recklessly left his goal area.
As soon as the second half began Younes Namli exploited a bad pass made by the Volga team, went as far as the 18-yard line of the opposite box and made the score equal with an unsavable shot. The Krasnodar squad kept on attacking, but unfortunately for them the decisive goal of the match was scored by FC Krylia Sovetov. The freshly-fielded mighty striker Yegor Golenkov arrived to a rendezvous with Safonov on the 75th minute and took two consecutive shots on goal. Even though the keeper of the Bulls coped with the first attempt, the Samara striker ultimately proved successful shooting the ball into the net with his second shot and thus made his team victorious.
